We have some news…we’ve just been nominated in The Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards 2020 as Champions of Sustainability!
It’s a huge honour to receive a nomination for the largest consumer-voted beauty awards in the UK (these awards had a record 1.5 millon votes cast in 2019). We just wanted to say a huge thank you to not only The Sunday Times, but to all of you for supporting us through our journey.
“It has been a lifelong dream of mine to make sustainable beauty accessible to everyone. We’ve followed B Corp and Cradle to Cradle principles since the very beginning to make sure that we create the most sustainable products and packagaing that we can, within an industry that sees so much waste. Our most recent focus has been to create a system of recovery for our packaging through our Return · Refill · Repeat programme and our Beauty Kitchen Refill Stations which will launch later this year. This nomination and recognition of our achievements and values means that we are doing something right, and that means a lot!” – Jo Chidley, Founder of Beauty Kitchen.
We’ll keep you updated on how you can get involved, we would be incredibly grateful if you could show even more support by voting for us to have the title of Champion of Sustainability. We are in this together!
I think Beauty Kitchen should win The Style Beauty Award as their products are wonderful. Good for your skin and good for the environment. They are also the first company I know of who does a refill system, where you can return the containers and they will recycle them.
